Some call me Good Queen Deirdre of the Faerie Realm, and it is true, I am benevolent toward all the creatures of the world, including, and most especially, humankind. I seek to help them by bringing from the land of Faerie all the best wishes for optimism, hope and prosperity. I have traveled everywhere but have settled, lo, these many years in the shadows and glens, the brightness and promise of the Berkshire Mountains.

Turrenian the Wood Elf, a descendant of the High Elves, has lived behind the veil for some 300 years, secretly watching over the Earth. Named Royal Builder of the Realm by Queen Deirdre, he has only recently begun to emerge in order to supervise the construction of Greylocken.
Deer Woman belongs to the legends of the Anishinaabekwe, Lakota, Potawatomi, Creek, Omaha, and Ponca tribes. Her story is known to Native American people who see her three-sided nature in different ways.
She is first known as the young woman. As a young girl, sleeping in her mother’s tent, she dreamed of her future life as wife, mother, woman member of her tribe. The story tells of her awakening to the sound of drumming and chanting.
Donella the blue Frost Fairy was born from a Bluebell flower on a frosty spring morning. Donella noticed that the flower wouldn’t open. The frost had frozen the top of the flower shut.
Donella heard someone walking and singing through the forest. It was the Witch Asprellda.
